Islamabad, 15 Oct, 2004: Meinhardt (Pakistan) pvt Ltd, signed an agreement with Defence Housing Authority Islamabad to form a Joint Venture company for
" High Rise Appartments " to be located in Phase-I of DHAI and also for the town planning, designing & management of 1500-acre Phase-I Extension's commercial/residential plots, schools, colleges, parks, sports complex, town halls.
Meinhardt intends to engage the consultants to provide various consultancy services including Town/master planning of development, detailed Infrastructure, Engineering design (roads, water supply, swerage, drainage, electricity).

18th of May: Agreement was signed with HRL on 18th of May, 06 for the development of Phase I-Extn and earth breaking ceremony has been carried out on 6th June, 06. Total area to be developed by HRL is 1500 Acres in Phase-1 extension.

12th April, 2006: a signing ceremony took place between Defence Housing Authority, Islamabad and National Logistic Cell (NLC). It is agreed by both parties to upgrade the existing facilities provided in phase-I, DHAI.
